Test two cold email angles with a fair comparison
Send two openers to matched groups and compare them fairly.
Gmail
- Up to 1 hour a run
- Sends from your accounts
The problem
Every opinion about cold email is a guess until you test it. A fair test by hand, with everything else kept the same, is so tedious that nobody does it.
How your agent runs it
- Finds the number of new buyers you asked for who fit, from company websites and Google, each with a public work email.
- Takes turns between your two angles in the order it finds people: the first gets A, the next gets B. That way neither angle gets the better leads.
- Changes only the opening: same offer, same ask, similar length, same sending hours.
- Gives each angle one subject line, the same for everyone who gets it, so replies can be counted per angle.
- Sends each person one email from your inbox and notes which angle they got.
- Reports how many went out per angle. It never calls a winner: under twenty sends per angle the test says nothing yet, and replies take days to arrive.
What you tell it
- What you offer
- For example: Bookkeeping for startups, first month free
- Two angles to compare
- For example: A: their recent job post. B: a result a similar company got.
What counts as done
- The number of emails you asked for, each with proof it was sent and which angle it used, and a clear note if it fell short.
Before anything counts, a second agent opens the proof and checks it.
